Global Platform Set to Crown First Miss Goa International in London

A major new highlight is coming to the global Goan calendar as the inaugural Miss Goa International UK prepares to host its Grand Finale at the Radisson RED London Heathrow on September 6, 2026. Designed to go far beyond a traditional beauty contest, the pageant serves as a high-visibility launching pad for Goan talent in film, fashion, media and cultural representation.

Produced in partnership by J&D Entertainment Ltd, Navayah Films and Moqui Pictures, the competition welcomes women of all backgrounds who share a deep connection to Goan culture. The grand finale will feature 12 finalists representing the 12 talukas of Goa, with contestants flying in directly from Goa, Canada and across the UK.

Driven by an Experienced Global Team

The pageant is backed by a collaborative team of UK and international founders across entertainment, film and event management:

  • Milroy Goes (Founder – UK/USA/Goa): Hollywood-based director of Goan origin, owner of Celebrities Goa and Buenos Muzik, Emmy® Awards voting member and director of the Oscar-qualified feature Welcome Millions.
  • Vilber DeCosta (Founder – UK): Entrepreneurial mind bringing business strategy and creative direction to the platform.
  • Jason Diniz (Founder – UK): Event expert and founder of J&D Entertainment, known for delivering large-scale community experiences.
  • Metroy Soares (Founder – UK): Oversees bookings, ticketing and operational management with J&D Entertainment.
  • Cliff Rodrigues (Event Manager – Goa, India): Leads regional events, marketing and PR operations in Goa.
  • Shalini D’Souza (Ticket Sales Manager – UK): Event manager with J&D Entertainment heading sales and overall execution.

The organizers have structured the platform to focus heavily on career development, offering contestants professional training, management, and direct pathways into the global entertainment industry.

We want the winner and finalists to be remembered for their talent and achievements, and to have a platform that can help them build their careers

The Grand Finale will evaluate contestants across three core rounds—featuring Indo-Western, Traditional and Evening Gowns exclusively provided by the pageant’s featured designer—alongside:

  • Catwalk & Presentation Round
  • Talent Round
  • Question & Answer Round

A distinguished panel of judges will select the winner and two runners-up. The judging panel includes:

  • Rt. Hon. Keith Vaz – Former UK Minister, MP and Chairman of Silver Star Diabetes
